Ok hooks and hookettes (Plural for hookers), this is what is happening in the greatest store known to mankind for the month of May. We start off with the release of Avacyn (apparently she got off on good behavior) this coming Friday the 4th of May 2012. Immediately after that goody we gots free comic book day 5th May 2012, which is essentially like any other day but with a ton of free comics! Hurrah for the toilet bowl reader!
The following weekend we are going to be running our second ever E.D.H tournament. That should be pretty interesting, last time I got teamed up with this grease ball that essentially cost me the tournament, no names but the prick knows who I am referring to, Chris Smith. Read up on the site to get more details in regards to this glorious event!
Nothing scheduled for the week after, which if my research has proven correct is May long weekend. Nothing much planned but you can rest assured that we here at Hydra Hobbies and Comics will be open all weekend and on the off days too!
To usher in the last weekend of May, we are celebrating the greatness of the universe of Warhammer, the first ever: Armies on Parade. You might be asking what the fuck is Armies on Parade??? Simple answer: Army + Parade = Armies on parade! Detailed answer: owners of Warhammer or W40k armies bring in their best-painted models and show them off to the general public! So if you have a well-painted army and think you are the 21st century Michelangelo bring your army in and await judgment!!! If you have no clue what Warhammer or W40k is, then get up from under that rock and get out here on that weekend to indulge on someone else’s hard work!
